"2 Hours. A unique feature developed by the ARPIEM brand.

The watch features a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating, a material combining the structure of graphite carbon and diamond, with a variable quantity of hydrogen deposited in thin layers under vacuum. The name refers to the qualities of diamond: resistance to wear, inalterability and resistance to friction. This DLC treatment offers superior shock and wear resistance to that obtained with conventional PVD coating.

The movement of this watch is automatic: the SEIKO NH35 with "Open Heart". Mounted on 24 jewels. Frequency = 21,600Hz. A movement renowned for its robustness and reliability (nicknamed The Horse) is adapted to the character of the RD watch.

The watch is designed with Saphir Bombe quality Cristal glass. It represents the highest quality glass available on the market. It can be scratched by diamonds only, and its domed finish enhances the vintage look of the jewel.

The glass is treated with 6 layers of anti-reflective coating to limit light refraction on the sapphire glass for perfect color and material perception!
