DESCRIPTION
Driving shoes from GrandPrix Originals Verdolino. A pair of shoes from a collection of driving sneakers by the German brand which, within it, has sought to develop driving shoes with a particular style. Indeed, these shoes are handcrafted by an Italian manufacturer from A to Z using 100% cowhide leather. A guarantee of a pair of quality shoes! What's more, the soles are made of natural rubber. A pair of shoes based on originality. This shoe is predominantly green with darker stripes and a brown heel. A white stripe above the sole brings out the shoe's colors. This pair of shoes comes with two pairs of laces. One brown and one beige, to match the shoe and the rest of your outfit.
What is the heel-and-toe technique?
The most famous pilots are familiar with different piloting techniques, including the famous " heel-toe ". The heel-toe technique is a sport driving technique previously taught to pilots. It's a technique that involves using both ends of the foot to brake and accelerate, while at the same time braking when downshifting. The aim is to brake and downshift without jerking. When the clutch is released, the engine speed corresponds to the speed of the rear wheels. If the engine speed is not high enough, the gearbox will lock the wheels. The result is similar to applying the handbrake.
The GrandPrix Originals brand has launched this collection of driver's shoes, with the aim of creating shoes that can use these techniques. These shoes are adapted to driving, but not only. In fact, the German brand has developed a sole that lies between two sizes. This allows the foot to be close enough to the pedals to be comfortable while driving. What's more, these shoes have a slightly tapered toe and, above all, a slightly rounded heel. For optimum comfort when driving your classic car!
